Biographical Notes:

"The funeral will take place at Karori on Monday of Mr. Leo Conway, who has died as the result of wounds received on active service while serving with the N.Z.E.F. Before joining the N.Z.E.F., the deceased was for several years in the Royal Navy. His Lordship Bishop Sprott will conduct the funeral service, and citizens are requested to attend the funeral to pay a last tribute to one who has laid down his life for the Empire. Every endeavour has been made to trace any relatives of the deceased, but without success."
