Location Information:
Okere is 21 kilometres north east of Rotorua. From Okere Falls Shop proceed about 1 kilometre towards Paengaroa and turn into Taheke Road. After about 2 kilometres turn right at the Fire Station into Te Akau Road. The cemetery is nearly 2 kilometres further on. A small track on the left of the road, before the end, leads up the hill to the burial area on the ridge crest, which overlooks Lake Rotoiti.
