Biographical Notes:

"A cyclist from Linton camp. Sergeant Thomas Neil Wylie, aged 49, was killed when his cycle collided with a railway truck driven by J. M. Quinn, of Khandallah, Wellington. The accident occurred in Fitzherbert  avenue this morning. Deceased had been granted leave to visit his sick wife, and was returning to camp."
