Biographical Notes:

An Army dispatch rider, Gunner Leslie Wilkins, aged 22. a single man, of Milton. Otago, who was stationed near Wellington, was killed instantly yesterday afternoon when his motor cycle skidded at the corner of Waterloo and Aotea Quays and collided with a heavy Army truck going in the same direction. Wilkins received a compound fracture of the skull.
