Biographical Notes:

" In connection with the death of a soldier - Ernest Albert Wilde, it appears that he went into the bush on Saturday and set a booby trap for wild pigs. The trap was arranged with a hand grenade and sprung by electric contact from a torch battery. On Sunday it is presumed that while the trap was being shifted the grenade exploded and Wilde was killed."
