Biographical Notes:

A Tiger Moth, making a cross wind landing at Ashburton, lost control in the slipstream of another aircraft taking off. The plane bounced on it’s undercarriage and a wing struck and fatally wounded Arthur Wiblin, who was acting as Aerodrome Control Officer.
