“On August 12th, 1902, at Wellington, of pneumonia, Benjamin Evans, the fifth beloved son of Edwin B. E. and Caroline Sarah Turner, grandson of the late Benjamin Evans Turner, of Newmarket, aged 23 years. Trooper of the 8th Contingent, N.Z.M.R., also member of the No.3 Natives; also of the Suva Volunteers. Date of funeral will be advertised on arrival of body.
