Biographical Notes:

During an air-to-ground firing exercise, the Wildebeest lV piloted by Alfred Todman was seen climbing to 250ft off Murawai beach before diving steeply into the sea. Wireless Operator Edward Mannell was also killed but the 3rd crew member escaped with injuries.
