Biographical Notes:

"Two R.N.Z.A.F. pilots were killed near Ohakea to-day, when the Warhawks they were flying in formation collided when coming to land.  They were Pilot-Officer Neville Benton Quigley and Sergeant Frank Ernest Rout.  Pilot-Officer Quigley's mother is Mrs C. C. Quigley of Napier, and Sergeant Rout's father is Mr. E. Rout, of Awapuni.  Pilot-Officer Quigley was aged 21, and Sergeant Rout, 20."
