Biographical Notes:

"The death has occurred of Gunner Reeves Walker Pilkington, who, at the time of his entry into the Army some months ago, was on the staff of W. D. and H. O. Wills (N.Z.), Ltd., at Wellington after having served previously in the Auckland. and Hamilton branches. A son of Mr. and Mrs. E. R. Pilkington,of Tamaki West, he was educated at the Auckland Grammar School. Always a keen young sportsman, he took a lively interest in hunting and polo and was a member of the Pakuranga Hunt Club and the Auckland Polo Club. He is survived by his wife (nee Nancy Dixon, a daughter of Mr. A. J. Dixon, of Karori, Wellington), and a young son."
