Mr Alexander William Orr, who died suddenly at Clinton last week, was the eldest son of Mrs George Walker and the late Mr R. W. Orr, of Clinton. He was 34 years of age, and was well known in Rugby circles, being for some years a stalwart of the Clinton Club, while he also represented South Otago on several occasions. He recently returned from overseas, having served in the Middle East. An inquest was held, and a verdict of death from heart failure was returned.
