Biographical Notes:

"The sudden death of Linton Alexander Moore, aged 39 years, of Brook Street, Lower Hutt, a sergeant in the New Zealand Army, was investigated. On January  17th deceased, who had not been in good health for some months, rose at 6 a.m. and went outside. A brother who resided with him heard him call, and on going out found him lying in the porch in a state of collapse. A doctor was summoned but life was extinct. The coroner returned a verdict that death was due to acute failure of the right side of the heart."
