Biographical Notes:

"Sir Alfred Milner has sent a cable message to the Acting-Premier stating that Trooper Cameron, whose parents live at Glendhu, Martinborough, Wairarapa, died from enteric fever at Lindley on January 2nd. The Defence authorities in New Zealand assume that the deceased must have joined one of the corps formed in South Africa, as his name does not appear on the rolls of the New Zealand contingents."
