Biographical Notes:

During a formation practice , flying from Ohakea, Wallace Mansill executed a 90 deg. turn and passed too closely under the aircraft flown by William Ranger. Mansills' propeller severed the tail unit of Ranger’s plane, which burst into flames, crashing near Swanson. Mansills’ aircraft came down 350yds away on Wilson’s farm.
