Biographical Notes:

“LATE GUNNER T KENNEDY, N.Z.F.A. He was born and educated in Southland, and on the outbreak of the war joined the Samoan Expeditionary Force. On returning to New Zealand he again volunteered for service abroad, but contracted measles and pneumonia and died in the Wellington Hospital.” [Star (Christchurch), Issue 11447, 23 July 1915, Page 4]
