Biographical Notes:

While his service record is not specific on the cause of his death and pneumonia is mentioned in some records. But there is a diagnosis of cardiac issues ( "disorderly action of the heart") and general debility 1 month earlier, together with a decision to discharge as unfit. 
Died 2 days after leaving Egypt aboard the SS Ulysses. Buried at Sea.
