Biographical Notes:

"MASTERTON, April 15. At an inquest on the body of a returned soldier named Archibald Johnston, who was a member of the Repatriation Board at Featherston Camp, a verdict was returned of death from a revolver wound in the head, self-inflicted." HAWERA & NORMANBY STAR, VOLUME LXXIV, ISSUE LXXIV, 16 APRIL 1919, PAGE 5
