Biographical Notes:

"Plunging 200 feet in his car from a bend on Onslow Road to the Hutt Road below, a naval petty officer received multiple injuries this afternoon and died on the way to Wellington Hospital. He was: Petty-Officer Maxwell Richardson Barlow, of 15 Cockayne Road. Khadallah.

The deceased was alone in the car, which apparently failed to take the bend."
