Biographical Notes:

Stationed at NZRAF Los Negros, in the Admiralty Islands, Bismarck Archipeligo, he drove a jeep into a cocnut tree. He was admitted to the USN Hospital, where he died on the 11th December. His remains were returned to New Zealand and buried at Taita on the 20th December 1945.
