Biographical Notes:

"An inquest was opened yesterday before the Coroner (Mr E. C. Levvey) into the death of Raymond Norman Harper, aged 26, of 292 Montreal street. Christchurch, who was found dead in a gas-filled room at his home on Tuesday. After evidence of identification had been given, the Coroner adjourned the inquest sine die."
