SPION KOP

Spion Kop is the site of a battle in the Anglo-Boer War. There is no cemetery and graves are spread around the area, the majority of casualties buried in the trenches, used by the Empire forces for defence. The site is near the town of Ladysmith and a small charge is made for access to the grounds. Travel must be by car or tour as the site is not near any transport location and is fairly remote.
