Historical Information:
Orpington (St Mary Cray) Cemetery was used during the Second World War by the nearby R.A.F. Station at Biggin Hill, and the majority of its 59 war burials are of airmen. The war graves plot to the left of the entrance contains 50 of the 59 Commonwealth burials and the graves of three Polish airmen. The rest of the war graves are scattered throughout the cemetery. 2 of the burials are unidentified airman of the R.A.F.
