Biographical Notes:

On a communications flight to Khartoum, the Blenheim flew into the ground 19 miles west  of Statur, Sudan  The crew were buried in the sand near the crash site, but the graves were lost  to the elements and the crew commemorated on the Alamein memorial. William Burns was the pilot.
