Biographical Notes:

The bodies of the two members of the R.N.Z.A.F. who lost their lives when a Walrus amphibian aircraft sank between Chelsea and Birkenhead on Tuesday afternoon were recovered at 11 o'clock this morning, when the aeroplane was raised from the harbour bottom. The officers were Flying-Officer John Lillie Marshall, of Auckland, and Flying-Officer William Leslie Morrison, of Wellington. An inquest was opened before the coroner, Mr. Alfred Addison, this afternoon, and adjourned after identification had been given.
