Biographical Notes:

"Inquests were concluded at Wellsford this week in respect to the recent deaths of Wm. Sinclair, who was killed as the result of a fall of rock in a quarry at Wayby and John Pavlovich and William Albert Parkes, who were electrocuted at Wharehine. The District Coroner, Mr G. T. Civil, returned verdicts that the deaths were accidental in each case.
