"BAYER,—On May 21, at Auckland Military Annexe, Wenzl (Max), R.N.Z.A.F., dearly-loved eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Bayer. Tahekeroa, loved brother of Sister Benedict (Melbourne), Sister Mary Stephen, the late Sister Mathilda (Sydney), Sister Edwina, Lucy, Elsie, Len, Edwin and Vera; aged 27.—R.I.P.
