Biographical Notes:

Originally buried in Terendak Camp, Malaysia, Richard's remains were returned to New Zealand in 2018, as part of the Te Auraki Repatriations and Reburials scheme.  Picture shows his original headstone in Terendak Military Cemetery (taken 2008). As of December 2020, no headstone has been placed on his new grave.
