Biographical Notes:

SECOND VICTIM OF ACCIDENT. (P.A.) CHRISTCHURCH. This Day. Gunner Leslie James Williamson, one of the eight soldiers injured when a military truck left the road near Godley Hoad at 12.45 on Sunday, died in in the Christchurch Public Hospital ar 9.30 p.m. yestereday. This was the second death resulting from the accident, which occurred when a leave party was being taken back to the Godley Head garrison camp. Gunner Williamson, who was 32 years of age, was the eldest son of Mr James Williamson, 66 Bury Street, Sumner. He was married.
