“Another sad death of a local returned soldier from the epidemic occurred this morning, the victim being Private Leslie Cribb, son of Mr A. J. Cribb, tailor, of this town. Deceased returned invalided about nine mouths ago, and resumed his occupation some time ago. Deceased will be accorded a military funeral, the cortege leaving the Hospital at 2 o'clock to-morrow for the Roman Catholic Cemetery.” [Wanganui Herald, Volume LII, Issue 15688, 13 December 1918, Page 9]
