Biographical Notes:

"There died at the Napier Hospital on Sunday evening Private George Gilding, a Home Service man. He had been an inmate for some three months. Deceased was well-known in Napier, where his family reside, he enlisted and was for some time in camp, later being sent as medical orderly to the military hospital at Rotorua."
