Biographical Notes:

Appointed Orderly Officer/Interpreter. Died of wounds aboard a hospital ship and buried at sea. Although listed as a member of the Canterbury Mounted Rilfes on the memorial, it is likely that he was a member of the  Infantry Headquarters Staff at the time of his death.
