Biographical Notes:

"Flying Officer Arthur Selwyn Jones enlisted to the Royal Australian Air Force on 19 January 1941, after previously serving with the militia. He undertook his initial pilot training in New South Wales and Victoria, and completed his operational training in the United Kingdom. Flying Officer Jones went on to serve with 3 Squadron, attached to the Royal Air Force Station at Gibraltar. On 5 February 1943, Flying Officer Jones died of an accident in North Africa. He is buried at Le Petit Lac Cemetery, Oran, Algeria."
