Biographical Notes:

"KEEFFE. Private Albert Henry Keeffe, who is reported to have been killed in action on June 4, was the only son of Mrs. R. McLean, of 14, College Hill, Auckland. He was born in Auckland 24 years ago, and was educated at the Nelson Street public school. He was a tailor by trade, and at the time of his enlistment in the ninth reinforcements was employed by Messrs P. Groos and Company."
