Biographical Notes:

"As a result of coming into contact with the wireless transmitter. Leading Aircraftman Alan Harris Hall was electrocuted, death being instantaneous, according to advice received from the Royal New Zealand Air Force Station, Ohakea. The next-of-kin, who is Mr. F. H. Hall, Awamoa, Oamaru, has been notified, and a telegram of condolence sent from the Prime Minister."
